Beth and Jeff Loyd have totally transformed their new home in Riverview Cove to create the feel of something with a much longer history. Over the two years since moving in, they have slowly been giving their home a look that is all them, blending heirloom antique pieces with new transitional takes on traditional style to produce a space that is both relaxing and inviting.

Quilt of Valor presentation for Mr. Bill Allen

The QOVF was started by Catherine Roberts in 2003 while her son was deployed in Iraq. Since that time, over 400,000 quilts of valor have been awarded to our veterans and just this year over, 12,500 quilts have been awarded. The mission is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing QOV.

SPECIAL NIGHT FOR STONES RIVER CHAPTER MEMBER, JACK MCELWAIN

On July 10th at the Stones River Chapter (Sons of the American Revolution), Jack McElwain was recognized by the Sons of the American Revolution, the BSA Trail of Tears District, and the State of Tennessee for his longtime service to the Scouting community. During the meeting, BSA Field Director, Phillip Heikkinen, shared how McElwain’s work and philanthropy resulted in the Stones River Chapter receiving the Robert E. Prytula Award.
